What is SSC ? List of different exams conducted by SSC .
SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission .
SSC is an organization of the government of India responsible for recruitment of suitable staff for different offices , departments and ministries for their proper functionality.
It is responsible for conducting different exams, and doing all necessary procedures till an eligible candidate gets selected to various posts in different departments .
It is part of the Department of Personnel and Training, this body is run by a chairman, two members, and a secretary-cum-controller of examinations.
The foundation for SSC was kept in 1975 for conducting examinations to recruit lower level of posts .
Although each state conducts their own exam for their staff recruitment , SSC is conducted at all India level, providing equal opportunity for all citizens with required eligibility to get selected at any post under the central government.
SSC conducts various exams for different posts Open to candidates across different education levels, including 10th, 12th, diploma, graduation, and more. In which lakh of students apply and appear for these exams.
